hilt CDs: Septic (90), Call The Ambulance Before I Hurt Myself (90), Stone Man (90), Orange Pony (91), Journey To The Center Of The Bowl (91) Yet still another Skinny Puppy offshoot, but you wouldn't know it (to those keeping score: cEVIN Key, D.R. Goettel, and Alan Nelson). To call these albums eclectic would be a humorous understatement. These guys are the Bongwater of industrial dance. Songs range from jazzy ambience ("Birdwatcher") to thrash ("Back To Insanity") to over-the-top dance-industrial-metal-pop ("950" or "314") to cheese-pop ("Super Honey") to full-on Lee Perry-style dub ("Yellow Sunshine", for which they thank Lee in the liner notes). The most interesting release of theirs for seekers of ambience is probably _Orange Pony_ (for its use of dub and for the generally spacey song structures), but all of their albums are worth at least one listen. At least one song on each album will make you laugh, at least one will be probably the worst song you've ever heard, and at least one will make you want to get up and dance around. This I promise you.
