From: JBeck@aol.com Date: Mon, 22 Aug 94 00:38:10 EDT Subject: C-A-D the Network There is an electronic music Network Newsletter called CONTROL-ALT-DELETE. It was started by and for Information Society fans, but has now grown to include many other bands. It supported and endorsed by Kurt Harland, INSOC's lead singer (He named us!), as well as Anything Box, Channel 69 and several other bands. C-A-D is a 16 pg zine with photos and articles on Information Society, Anything Box, T-4-2, Channel 69, Total Devotion, Red Red Groovy and many other new and upcoming electronic bands. It is issued quarterly, (Jan, Apr, July,Oct) for $3.95 per issue. We are currently on our 6th issue (which has been briefly held up waiting for the final artwork from the album cover) and all back issues are available, as well as a Dec '93 Special Edition. We also have INSOC merchandise such as their very first, 12" 5-song EP-autographed by Kurt; a video interview with Jim and Paul, with clips of their videos; and INSOC official tour shirts and C-A-D baseball caps. The most exciting news is that C-A-D is releasing a compilation CD of Network bands August 19. We have tracks from INSOC, Anything Box, T-4-2, Channel 69, Red Red Groovy, Machine in Motion and 11 other bands. There will be a premier party in Dallas for it's release. There is also now a taped radio interview with TheCat and a new Information Society song, Seek300 done by 91.7 The "X". We maintain a mailing list of fans and mail updates, tour and release information periodically, as well as an E-mail distribution list for Network News. If you would like to be on the mailing list, place an order or have more information about the Network, send your address to : TheCatalyst@Delphi.Com or JBeck@aol.com CONTROL-ALT-DELETE PO Box 38553-1010 Houston TX 77238-8553 713/448-3815 I will send you a C-A-D flyer, with a sample page from the newsletter and a $1 off coupon.
