This track came in three diferent versions.
Version I (the original), co-written by Steve
Thompson, is an 'acid pop song' with vocals by Peter himself.
Version II (Freecloud Mix) is a deeper,
darker version, completely different from the original. The vocals are
still there, but they come rather breathed out than sung. A flute enters
the mix, giving it a mystical touch.
The highlight is the third version 'Milky
Tres', which is based on the Freecloud Mix, but more downtempo and adding
an acoustic guitar. This has also been put on the album 'Ooo- The World
of Baby Ford' later, so it is quite easy to get.
All three 12'' es feature the wonderful
'Ford Trax', an analogue sounding deep moody track with jazzy harmonies.
Autechre listed it in their Electronic Top 5 of all time.
