Began the construction of electronic devices to aid in the assimilation and translation of sound sources. Initial works unrecorded. 1993: _Stabbing Water_ recorded 12/93, unreleased. Works based on white noise and complex feedback structures. Initially an experiment which in turn became an epic series of sketches of introspection and fears. 1994: 2/94 Began collecting non-terristrial sound information. _Minumism_ recorded 3/94, unreleased. Hypnotic and cyclic works derived from concrete sources. Slowly evolving and slowly decaying movements. 4/94 Began to play live creating atmospheric structures. _Mercurial_ recorded 5/94, released as a DAT. Continued research into concrete sources. A homage to Vladimir Ussachevsky, Pierre Henry, and Pierre Schaeffer. A narrative that in essence wanted to pick up where the grandfathers left off. _Bhutan_ recorded 9/94, released as a DAT. Track one "Deserts, In My Fists I Hold Nothing" was inspired by Edgard Varese. Contemplative atmospheres and deep evocations of memory. Track two "Falter", explores the spaces between speech and the decaying patterns of meaning that we strive to decode. _Surface Detector_ recorded 9/94, released as a DAT. A recording evolving from the moments of digital data between the silence of bandwidth flux. Decoded from microwave downlinks and point to point relay systems. 1995: _Cathepsin_ recorded 2/95, released as a DAT. Technically based on white and pink noise sources from non-terrestrial activities. Complex modulation patterns yielded results that became not an experiment but a quest. In effect the boundaries of the process crumbled and the results breathed on their own. 3/95 Began collaboration on, Dark Matter, with, Brian Lustmord. Sourcing 100% from non-terrestrial sources and processed as minimally as possible to retain the pure qualities of the material at hand. CD release projected for late '95 or early '96 on Side Effects Records (U.S. / Germany). _Iridology_ recorded 5/95, released as a DAT. Non-terrestrial and analogue sources balance one another in a deep evocative place with no reference point. The two tracks, Iridology I and II developed into mirror gazing and eye study templates. _Mezenlang_ recorded 6/95. To be released on CD by: (LoH) Laboratory of Hearing (U.S. and Germany) 7/95 Isomorphic Records (U.S.) to release _Cathepsin_ in CD format with handmade packaging by Marc McNulty. Available worldwide through: Soleilmoon, Staalplaat, Anomolous, and RRR. 7/95 Photophobia track on Xcreteria (Canada) compilation. Available worldwide. 7/95 Presently compiling a LoH compilation of experimental ambient works. To be released on CD. Continued...
