Once I get all the art work oganized I will put it up on the site and we can choose which one(s) are the best. Personaly from what I have seen so far, I liked one cover of one person and one back cover of another :). Next question is printing. They will need to be printed and cut, If anyone has this ability it would be great esp to save $ from going to kinko's. Once we choose the cover and back cover, we will then need to have the label desinged. This will not be as fancy as it will be printed on stickers that will go on the cd's :) -- +--------------------------+------------------------------+ | Robert Skinner | Hardcore-Gabber-List Admin | | skinner@skinner.org | DarkStep-DnB-List Admin | | http://www.skinner.org | ICQ: 5824321 AIM: Skinner909 | +--------------------------+------------------------------+ | Black Monolith Records | Fon: +1-973-429-1439 | | P.O. If these bands fit the descriptions from everyones answers, I shall really
enjoy the show. I am surprised that we are getting something in the
south(texas)that you guys up north are not. Usually it is reversed. The only
two good events I can recall in the last 5 years or maybe more has been
Panacea, download, and afx. Normally I have to read about good things going
on in calif. or new york. We just get the popular brit jungle djs that all
play the same shit. May as well be the same damn dj.

Subject: [darkstep] Vestax 06

Just bought the Vestax 06 Mixtick mixer. I used it last night for the
first time and I'm not really too happy with it. For one, it doesn't have a
separate output for the zone monitors, therefore it doesn't have a zone
volume. Very much a minus. Also, it doesn't have a mic output...........how
you gonna spin hip hop and jungle without a mic output for the emcee heads?
Also, you can't control the mids...only the highs and lows. I like to have
control over all of these. The only plus is the crossfader. I think Vesatx
makes the best faders out there. They cut like a damn knife! And I like how
you can reverse the fader direction, too. The things that I don't like
outweigh the things that I do, so I think I'm gonna have to return it and go
with the PRO 05........what do you think? Any other suggestions? I don't
want to spend more than 5 bills (rather, I CAN'T spend more than that)! So
keep me on a budget. Also, remember that I'm into hip hop and DnB so there
will be scratching involved.

I got to hear underground quality sick dark music! DJ Scud played some killer tracks, and had all the heads smiling from the chaos that was being blasted though our ears. I have to say this party represented the true music underground. All of the major heads where there. From, John Berry, some of the Diatribe people and fellow Industrial-Tekno DJ's. What was so great about this is, those who are about the music showed up. \ Even Simon Reynolds Mr. Author of Generation Ecstasy was there supporting the Hardcore Broken Beat and Noise Underground. For those of you who love the industrial-brokenbeat-hardcore, and you missed this slap yourselves. Best 8 bucks I spent all year. Scud played everything from Somatic Responses to his own digital hardcore breaks. He even ripped out a few Dark Roller DnB Tracks. Hrvatski was def quite great too.. I have to say it was good to hear experimental music out on a decent sound system, on top of that the place was relatively packed, which is rare for such music. Over all for an 8$ event the Ambush party had rocken music, nice people and a fun atmosphere. Respect to everyone I met there etc. Of course any of the people that went, who got copies of BMR records I would love to see reviews of them.. -- +--------------------------+------------------------------+ | Robert Skinner | Hardcore-Gabber-List Admin | | skinner@skinner.org | DarkStep-DnB-List Admin | | http://www.skinner.org | ICQ: 5824321 AIM: Skinner909 | +--------------------------+------------------------------+ | Black Monolith Records | Fon: +1-973-429-1439 | | P.O. However I was more rude the normal towards rando, which as for a productive member of the list was uncalled for. even tho he still is a twat :-p.. But all and all, the email to the list was not for your public flogging, as much as it was me also telling the list to not send huge headers... Triming down emails and fwd's and headers is part of the basic rules of the list and is in the FAQ. I should put a public flogging rule in the FAQ too.. But you did take it to personal as if people really care if I did that, most will delete it, so the only people who got upset are you and me... I applogize for my repsonse and being more rude them I normaly am, however there is no applogy for the frist email, as there is every write for me to repsond to a publicy posted email and use it as and example of what not to do.... -- +--------------------------+------------------------------+ | Robert Skinner | Hardcore-Gabber-List Admin | | skinner@skinner.org | DarkStep-DnB-List Admin | | http://www.skinner.org | ICQ: 5824321 AIM: Skinner909 | +--------------------------+------------------------------+ | Black Monolith Records | Fon: +1-973-429-1439 | | P.O.
