This results in some unique flavoring for both of the genres. Eye-D plays straight sets of each style, but he's also one of the few who will go so far as to mix the two styles up in what has become known as a "GabberJungleWar". Expect his drum 'n' bass sets to be hard-edged but still very effective on the dancefloor. Eye-D's hardcore sets range from slow to faster material, with a dark feel resounding throughout. An often heard compliment about Eye-D's sets is that they work well even when played to a crowd that normally isn't into either hardcore or drum 'n' bass. While spinning is a big part of his life, Eye-D is still mostly a producer at heart. Because of the diversity of his projects, spanning all spectra of drum 'n' bass and hardcore, Eye-D is signed to a wide variety of labels: Piruh Records (The Netherlands, drum 'n' bass); Ruff-Teck Records (The Netherlands, drum 'n' bass); Mokum Records (The Netherlands, hardcore); Def Wish Records (UK, drum 'n' bass); Coolman Records (The Netherlands, hardcore); Ghetto Safari (USA, hard-edged drum 'n' bass); Low Res Records (USA, hardcore); Semiconscious Media (USA, drum 'n' bass); Black Monolith Breaks (USA, drum 'n' bass), and Kultbox Records (USA, experimental drum 'n' bass). DUTCH SCENE: DREAZZ & FALCON (KNOWLEDGE MAGAZINE / Maggio 2002). Originally just hustling records out of his bedroom circa-1994, Dreazz has since gone on to become one of the most successful figureheads in the Dutch drum & bass scene. With over seven labels under his control and each with a distinctive focus and sound, Dreazz and his Rotterdam-based Triple Vision distribution company and record store are without a doubt at the heart of the drum & bass in Holland. Recently linking up with the wunderkind Falcon, Dreazz seems determined to take the whole operation up a notch while Falcon's name is hot. Responsible for last year's infamous 'Love', Falcon's version of the tune almost wasn't going to be released. "We took it to England and our distributor told us we were too late," says Dreazz. "They told us that another tune was about to drop in a couple weeks but we were like, 'Fuck it', you know? We went ahead and rushed it through and released it at exactly the same time." Within a week Dreazz & Falcon's version of 'Love' was being caned by DJs across the board even turning up #1 on the black market sales charts. Triple Vision had found its hit. With Falcon in the lead, dropping twelve releases on Dutch labels like Citrus, Ohm, A New Dawn, and even a single on Aquasky's Incident imprint, the Triple Vision name was suddenly a hot contender in the international arena. Gearing up for a full-length Falcon LP, as well as a series of new labels including Falcon's Timecode Audio project with DJ Chase, the future definitely looks bright for the leaders of the Triple Vision crew. DREAZZ BIO Dreazz has been active in the Drum & bass scene since 1992. In 1994 he is co founder of a small company called Triple Vision that later turned out to be one of the main players in the world of drum & bass. With the Birth of Triple Vision he created a new platform to start promoting drum & bass in the Benelux area (Holand, Belgium, Luxemburg). It initially kicked of with importing records and selling it to friends and slowly but steadily mounted into a company that started to show the world that there's much more quality drum & bas around beside's what is happening in the UK. Currently Dreazz is the owner of 8 Drum & bass labels, and has several production on his name. FALCON BIO DJ Falcon started way back, he was about ten, and began to produce music on an Amiga. He kept improving and had some releases on his way. Together with various artists (like Brent Field and Erick) he released some trax various house lables. After a few years of experiments an al sorts of little projects, DJ Chase introduced him to the sounds of drum and bass. Just 1,5 year later he finds himself on top of the Dutch drum and bass scene. While the first releases of Citrus recordings (A new label of Triple Vision), witch he made together with DJ Dreazz, was just out, a second (a solo 12" by the Falcon) and the third (a solo double pack by the Falcon) where released he started a full collaboration with Dreazz. After a 6 massive releases on Citrus, 2 Releases on Ohm, 2 Releases on A New Dawn and, and hits like the jill Scot Remix 'Love'. The time was come to record a full length cd. Dreazz selected the 14 best tracks and mixed them into a full length cd. At this time Falcon has some massive releases planned for Citrus, Ohm, Synthetic (falcon's own label), Piruh, TimeCodeAudio rec. and more.!! Location: Forte Prenestino (Via F.
