My dears: since September, Brian has flitted from event to event -- often giving those humorous monologues that the general populace finds so diverting. Several of those bean-feasts and bun-fights were held in his honour; at others he played a supporting role and on one notorious occasion purchased a hat. As this record-lacking year draws to its close we can apparently look forward to a new album sometime in 2016.

Music by Brian will be featured in Michael Benson's Otherworlds, a new exhibition at London's Natural History Museum, from 22nd January 2016.

Thanks to Dario, Rory, Bernd, Dominic, John, Richard and EnoWeb's own newsbot for these news links in no particular order.

We have some links related to Eno's chums too.

Our previous update was on 2nd September when we wrote:

Discreet + Oblique: The Music of Brian Eno will be performed at The Barbican, London, on 26th September. Devised by Leo Abrahams and David Coulter, the piece aims for an authentic recreation of Eno's original Discreet Music concept, and also suggests ways that it can develop musically. The piece was originally commissioned for Supersense: Festival of the Ecstatic, presented by Arts Centre Melbourne. Afterwards Laraaji will give a post-show celestial music performance too. Brian Eno will not be breaking his silence at this event.

Our previous update was on 6th-8th April when we wrote:

It's time for one of EnoWeb's ever-so-regular updates of all the things we missed by accident or design. Thanks for these news items should be given mainly to Dario, with support from Rory Walsh, Tony Ballinger, John Emr, Richard Mills, Tony Marshall, and occasionally EnoWeb itself.

New lamps for old! New lamps for old! (Part 2.) For the Holy Festival of Kash-Til-Ryng – also known as Record Store Day on 18th April – Warp is releasing a double vinyl LP version of My Squelchy Life. This will include a bonus track called "Rapid Eye". EnoWeb notices that the LP cover appears to have been, ahem, inspired by the cover of the bootleg version which some miscreant ripped off from Dave Bush's image donated to EnoWeb's gallery long ago.

Brian's music will appear in the film Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, to be released in the summer.
