I'm just a mere customer, but they are super nice to
you when you enter the door. This was the first record shop i've been in that was this
cool to ya, no matter who you are. They have a good selection of vinyl, although it
doesn't look like it when you walk in. I would have to say this is the BEST place you can
go for house/techno/jungle/trance/hip-hop/breakbeat, etc, in Jacksonville!

All i have to say about this store is WOW!!!
i'll even say it backwards for ya...WOW!!! you can't beat this shop if you tried, they
have everything from body peircing and tatooing to Mix tapes and Vinyl, get your septum
peirced while your girlie picks out a new outfit and some nifty records for ya!!! when you
go ask for 'Rich' and tell him 'benaard(hydro)' sent ya. only problem with this store is
that it closes at 10pm Xcept for fridays it's open till midnight, so you can pickup a new
outfit b4 you hit 'The Firestone' or 'Icon'

are the future of Dj Stores in the US but here to check out today. I promise you won't be
disapointed one bit!

THe drop shop is a great place to find Orlando breaks old and new. They also carry
lots of Progressive Trance & Progressive/Latin House, a little rap, and that cool new
track you heard on the radio. You can get some clothes there, and some accessories like
bags, hard travel cases and such, but you can get most of it cheaper somewhere else. If
your looking for anything in the ways of Techno, Acid House, Drum n' Bass, Hard House, or
even some good HIP HOP, I wouldn't bother visiting the Drop Shop if you're more than 20
minutes away. In fact I wouldn't bother coming anywhere in Orlando as many of the Stores
Follow Suite (except Rock n' Roll heaven). Bottom Line, The Drop Shop gets a 6 out of 10
due to the VERY HIGH cheesiness Factor and lack of Diversity. |

There are also two other US - in Lauderhill & on
Miami Beach. A decent used CD selection, some interesting new CD stuff. The vinyl section
is quite limited, mostly pop/top40 stuff but I'm trying to enlarge it. Also has lots of
clothes & accessories, tobacco waterpipes, etc.
