No real extensive techno / IDM section, but some good samplers and the odd gem.
A great place for underground comics. Also most of the dance mags (mixmag, URB, etc.)

wish has move out of satellite and is now just a few blocks down moreland
toward the point. still a great selection, but now more turntables for to previewing, etc.
Excellent vinyl ahop. They've got it divided up into lots of categories ambient, techno,
trance, hard trance, jungle, electro, chicago, detroit, florida, progressive. Plus, they
feature all of the hottest items on the wall, so browsing through the weeks top picks is a
snap. Carry loads of imports, as well as domestic stuff from the categorical states, plus
San Fran/LA, and the whole west coast scene. Pricing typically $6 or so for the so-so
releases, $8-$12 for the good 12"s. I'm talking singles here... Of course, if you
shop frequently, or just talk to Tommy (one of the co-founders I believe), he'll usually
knock a buck off each item you buy. CDs are expensive... usually hard to find something
under $15, and they can go up to $26 for _one_ import album. I even saw Orbus Terrarum
there for $20 _domestic_, so don't go shopping for CDs here. They claim they'll "mail
order anywhere". (according to their flyer). Lots of used stuff. The wall is always
filled with the latest releases, but the bins usually have a fairly good back-catalogue,
and other rarities which you might not be able to find locally. 2 tables at the counter,
one usually pumping through the shop's kickin sound system. (by kickin, I mean for a store
this small, it fills the room -). Plus, they just added another turntable and some chairs
in the center, so you can lounge and listen at the same time. Very cool! They've got a few
mix tapes available, tho they tend to be (by my standards) _very_ expensive... $15-$20 for
1 tape typically. But, this is also the store which managed to obtain a copy of FSOL's 15
min Lifeforms video! It's a very friendly shop, but tends to get crowded when new releases
come out. Lots of DJs frequent the place, and as I don't DJ, or follow that crowd, I
usually don't know anybody there but Tommy. Overall however, and compared to other places
in town, you can't beat the selection or service.

the rewind crew is probably one of the most customer friendly store crews in
atlanta.. when you walk in the store youre greeted by either, j-luv, bobble, hutch, eric
zheno, or dewayne (aka big d).. they are always more than happy to assist the headline dj,
or just the local club kid who wants a song he heard at a party last night. the crew is
always willing to assist.. music selection in the store, is good, if they dont have
something in stock they will order it...no questions asked.. whether it be:
breaks,house,electro,jungle,ambient,old skool,trip-hop,dub,garage, what-ever your flava
there is someone willing to assist. gear- rewind brings in some clothing sold in store
they have a wall of clothes @ moda up the block..as a ditributor for vastax, numark, eso,
stanton, ortofone, and others. rewind is one of the most well equipped store ive seen that
also supplies hardware..not to mention record bags and rewind skateboards... in the 7
months ive been living in atl. rewind has become my second home, i have to give mad props
to the crew. they know how to make a customer feel good...
