They have the best pre-listening set up I've ever encountered (sound booths and
multiple headphone systems) also they allow you to listen to ANYTHING not just to
predetermined CDs Variety is very good and very diverse almost any artist in any genre

The store is based on the www and is run out of an extra bedroom in our house.
We started the store due to the local techno store's (Alien records) high prices and
unwillingness to follow through with special orders. We do not have a large inventory but
we are good at finding what ever you could be looking for. Our CD selection is very
limited but we are in the process of expanding it. If you have any special requests just
let us know and we will do our best to track it down. We will play records for you on the
phone (512)442-2935 and we do have records on real audio files that you can download.

Carry blank tapes, journees t's, needles, mixtapes. they can order you just
about anything, but be prepared to pay --through the nose for cd's (ex. $30 for goldie
timeless 1cd.) vinyl prices --are more reasonable. if you are a house or hip-hop freak,
you'll love the --place. staff are for the most part confused when asked about anything
--idm, ambient, or jungle related.

Listening only on main store system .run by nd records, this small store has
less convential 'techno' and more experimental stuff, from can to froese to garage rock
and local austin bands. the experimental cd's take up about half the selection. any
post-industrialist or post-indie music fanatic will find themselves at home here. support
this store if you come to austin! they have only been open a little while and fill a
definite niche in this town, i would hate to see them go.

being a one stop DJ shop where you could find anything you need. Staffed with some of the
most schooled DJ's and producers coming out of Dallas, this store can help you weather
you're just beginning or are a veteran wax slinger just in town breifly. Excellent
selection of Jungle, House, Techno, Trance, and Breakbeat, with small trip-hop, battle
breaks, and gabber/happy hardcore sections also. Very competitive prices, unmatched
selection, and knowlegable staff all help to make this store the best in Dallas.

I've heard from many a DJ that's come to Dallas that Bill's is the largest
record store for new and used dance music they've ever seen. The prices on new vinyl are
about average, but be prepared to pay for older stuff. The staff are working DJ's
themselves, and will probably be able to find you what you want.

can get on for new releases... includes descriptions and is fairly useful. they will
special order stuff for you (no charge). the catalog is updated *WEEKLY* (every saturday)

A great little shop with everything from Ambient to Punk to Mainstream. When
