Fast forward is a tiny operation, but for techno in the providence area, it's
pretty much the only game in town. The music tends to be pretty underground -- they get
stuff through Watts, but also through Recordtime, and the guy who orders has pretty
idm-ish taste. The selection is not large, because the operation is small scale, but the
prices are pretty good. They also have a wide range of punk stuff and various indie rock
type stuff. The people who work there, Ron and Judy, are incredibly nice, and they will
gladly special order stuff for you.
